Rupert Sanderson’s design philosophy is simply ‘less is more’. Avoiding augmentation and over dressing the foot, he concentrates on perfecting lines, volume and material to flatter and lengthen the leg. His inspiration comes from the materials themselves; from the sensual curve and silhouettes of the heels, to the quality and finish of the best leather and fabrics.
Having founded his eponymous company in London after returning from working in Italy in 2001, Rupert Sanderson places prime importance on fine Italian craftsmanship. Rupert Sanderson has two London stores located in Mayfair and Knightsbridge, a store in the Palais Royal in Paris and On Lan Street in Central, Hong Kong.
