Usha Bora, born in Assam in the Himalayan foothills of India, revisits her roos through the creative medium of textiles and created Jamini to share her love for traditional indian weaves & prints. Since 2009, the brands offers product that highlight the skill and sophistication of weavers and craftsmen from lesser known areas of India, such as Assam, Maniput, Bengal and the tribal areas of the North East.
